Hotel Eccher: since 1972

Ernesto Eccher and Lina Bruna Santini opened the Eccher Hotel back in 1972. The sign read: ‘Pensione Eccher’. Inside their house they were ready to welcome their guests, with ten rooms, each with its own bathroom.

Today, it is us children, Massimo and Elisabetta, who run what has in the meantime become the Hotel Eccher, always with the unfailing help of father Ernesto; mother Bruna unfortunately left us in 2010.

Over the years, the hotel has undergone several renovations and others are planned in the near future.

1972

1979

Autumn 1979

Construction of the new west wing, with 4 new rooms and expansion of the bar area and TV room

1989

Autumn 1989

Total roof renovation with construction of a lift and increase in capacity. There are now 20 rooms.

1999-2000

Autumn 1999 - Spring 2000

Construction of a breakfast room and health centre with Finnish sauna, Turkish bath and single whirlpool

2004

Autumn 2004

Extension of 4 rooms converted into Junior Suites and installation of solar panels.

2010

Autumn 2010

New lounge area set up in the bar with redistribution of common areas on the ground floor

2013

Autumn 2013

Green building extension of the rooms on the second and third floors using local wood (spruce and larch) and installation of a Biosauna in the health centre The wellness area is becoming more and more special...

2016

Autumn 2016

Installation of 12 KW photovoltaic panels, outdoor extension of the wellness centre with a 6-seater whirlpool and new hay sauna.

Our hotel today is? Always a work in progress!

Our hotel has never stopped, we are constantly evolving, with our minds always searching for new ideas, in order to make your holiday in Val di Sole better every year.
