In Val di Sole all this becomes possible! Here, where woods and mountains frame a clear, blue sky, there are kilometres of paths, dirt roads, and cycle paths that even the most well-trained runner might find too much.
Marked trails, with ascents ranging from 900 to 3600 metres in altitude, practicable both in summer and winter using caspoles or alpine skis. Interesting routes from a naturalistic as well as a historical point of view. As a matter of fact, Val di Sole happened to be a front row witness during the Great War of 1915-18.
And again snowfields and glaciers, not to mention the Brenta Dolomites, of which we can see the first mountain, the Sasso Rosso, from the Hotel Eccher. The great protected areas such as the Adamello Brenta Natural Park and the Stelvio National Park, which embrace the Val di Sole and its immense heritage of fauna and flora.
